NUMBER FORMAT RULES
Understand South Korea's phone numbering system and key dialing conventions.
South Korean mobile numbers use prefixes 010–019 followed by a 7–8 digit number. Dial all digits after the country code; do not omit the mobile prefix.
Landline numbers consist of the area code (2 digits, e.g., 02 for Seoul) and a 7–8 digit local number. When dialing internationally, omit the leading 0 from the area code.
When calling South Korea from abroad, do not include the leading 0 that appears in domestic area codes. For example, Seoul's area code 02 becomes just 2 when dialing from Indonesia.
South Korea also has VoIP and special service numbers (e.g., 1577–1588, 1800). These may have different dialing requirements; verify with the service provider if applicable.

CONNECTIVITY & RESTRICTIONS
Resolve common calling issues and understand any network restrictions between Indonesia and South Korea.
Check your internet connection (if using browser-based calling) or your mobile signal. Verify you've entered the full number with country code (+82). If the problem persists, try calling again after a few minutes or using a different network.
International calls may experience minor delay. Move closer to your WiFi router or switch to a stronger signal. If using a mobile phone, ensure you have sufficient mobile signal bars. Quality typically improves with a stable connection.
Confirm the area code and local number are correct, and that you've omitted the leading 0 from the area code when dialing internationally. Some special service numbers (e.g., 1800, 1577) may not connect via international calling.
Premium numbers, toll-free numbers (1800), and emergency numbers may not be reachable internationally. If you need to reach a business with a special number, try looking up their main landline or mobile contact.
